Key features
- Multi Release drops two sprockets in a single lever push.
- 2-way release — shift with thumb or index finger.
- Light, positive action with the instant-release feel XT is known for.
- Works with any Shimano 12-speed MTB rear derailleur.
Shifter cables stretch and outers compress. A fresh cable often fixes what feels like a worn shifter.
