Where to Ride in Noosa

Discover the best local trails, gravel routes and ride ideas to make the most of your time on the bike.

Noosa and the Sunshine Coast offer a rare mix of riding from one base: purpose-built MTB singletrack, hinterland gravel, quiet country roads, coastal pathways and longer adventure loops through the Noosa Biosphere.

Whether you’re here for a quick hire-bike ride, a guided tour, a training loop or a full-day gravel mission, these are the local riding zones we point riders toward most often.

Local Riding Zones

From Wooroi singletrack to hinterland gravel and regional MTB networks, these are the local riding areas we recommend most often.

TEWANTIN NATIONAL PARK — WOOROI TRAILS

The Wooroi trail network in Tewantin National Park is our closest and most popular mountain bike riding area. Just minutes from the shop, Wooroi offers forest singletrack, flowing corners, punchy climbs and technical features across a mix of trail grades.

Best for: MTB, e-MTB, coaching, quick hire-bike sessions and local trail riding.

NOOSA BIOSPHERE TRAILS

The Noosa Biosphere Trails link the wider hinterland areas around Pomona, Cooran, Kin Kin, Cooroy and the surrounding rural trail network. Expect farmland, forest pockets, gravel roads, quiet backroads and longer mixed-surface loops.

Best for: gravel bikes, e-bikes, adventure rides and hinterland exploring.

PARKLANDS CONSERVATION PARK

Parklands Conservation Park is a well-known Sunshine Coast mountain bike network south of Noosa. The trails have a more technical, old-school feel, with tighter singletrack, rougher surfaces and more challenging sections than a casual local cruise.

Best for: experienced MTB riders and technical trail sessions.

VICTORY HEIGHTS — GYMPIE MTB TRAILS

Victory Heights in Gympie is an actively managed local MTB network with strong support from the riding community. The trails are always evolving, with new features, fresh lines and improvements popping up as the network develops.

Expect jumps, berms, rollers and playful trail sections. It’s a great option for riders willing to travel a little further and looking for a different feel to the Noosa and Sunshine Coast trail networks.

Best for: MTB riders, feature-based riding, jumps, berms and regional day trips.

NOOSA COASTAL PATHWAYS

For a more relaxed ride, Noosa’s coastal pathways connect Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Sunshine Beach, Peregian and surrounding coastal areas. These routes are ideal for casual riders, families and visitors wanting to explore the coastline, riverfront and cafés without heading into the MTB trails.

Best for: active e-bikes, family rides, casual exploring and coastal cruising.

Maps & Navigation

Before heading out, check the local maps and load your route. Trail signage, mobile reception and surface conditions can vary, especially through the hinterland and MTB trail networks..

Wooroi MTB Trail Map

Plan your MTB or e-MTB ride through the Wooroi trail network in Tewantin National Park, just minutes from the shop. This is our closest and most popular local mountain bike riding area.

Noosa Biosphere Trails Map

Use the Noosa Biosphere Trails map to plan gravel, mixed-surface and longer adventure rides through the Noosa hinterland, including areas around Pomona, Cooran, Kin Kin, Cooroy and the wider trail network.

These routes suit riders looking for a bigger day out beyond the local MTB trails, with changing surfaces, rural roads and fewer services once you leave tow
