The standard SPD cleat
SH51 is the black single-release cleat that comes on almost every Shimano SPD pedal. You release by twisting the heel outward, and only outward — which is what keeps your foot secure when the trail gets rough.
Best for: Mountain, gravel, commuting and indoor training on any two-bolt SPD pedal.
