The ultralight construction and silicone grip panels do away with a thigh strap while keeping Leatt's non-slip fit, and the extended high-rise sock supports high on the thigh to relieve pressure on the calf. The ReaFlex gel pad sits in a mesh pocket with an abrasion-resistant patch over the knee.
